The Taming of the Crew

"Nonsense niece, to be high-born does not guarantee fine character, pleasant disposition and bravery, in fact quite the opposite."

Don Quixote is our New Writing show of the season.

25th, 26th of July and 1st, 2nd, 8th and 9th of August at 7.30 pm.

St Thomas' Church Hall

Tickets from £5.00

Directed by Elliot Huxtable

The play:

Don Quixote is a madcap adaptation of Cervantes' classic novel, a whirlwind tour through the episodic adventures of the elderly gentleman who is convinced that he is a Knight of the Realm. Fighting windmills, massacring sheep and pledging his love to total strangers are just some of the escapades that our small cast of multi-roling marvels will present.

The director:

Elliot is the Artistic Director of the festival, and has directed over 30 productions. He is very excited to be restaging Don Quixote, a play he first did 10 years ago when he was at University, and has incredibly fond memories of!

The venue:

St Thomas’ Church Hall,  59 Burgate, Canterbury, CT1 2HJ
