Tarquin Taylor

Macduff (Sergeant and King)

Tarquin has been a member of the CSF since it began in 2016. ‘Officially’ he has quit acting to work on his band, Next to Mountains, but he promises himself 1 acting project a year; this year it is Macbeth, next year he will be returning to play Bolingbroke (Henry IV) in CSF’s production of Richard II.

After learning to act under the tutorage of Andrew Dawson with the Marlowe Theatre, CSF’s 2016 production of A Midsummer Night’s Dream was the first time that he had worked with a different director (Elliot Huxtable, now the Director of the festival) and he absolutely loved it. The genie was now out of the bottle and Tarquin became semi-professional later that same year.

Tarquin feels strongly that community aspect of the festival is one of it’s most important elements and loves the fact that one year’s audience is often the next year’s cast.
