Unfortunately, we do NOT provide chairs for our productions. If you are attending one of our outdoor productions you will need to bring your own chairs!

What happens when I arrive?

Please arrive in good time before the performance is due to start, so that you have time to set up your chairs and/or rugs.

Are children welcome?

Our shows are always open to children of all ages, however parental discretion is advised for some of Shakespeare’s more violent plays.

Is food and drink allowed?

We encourage people to bring food and drink, unless otherwise stated by the venue.

Is photography allowed?

Yes, and we encourage you to share on social media and tag the festival!

Are dogs allowed?

You are welcome to bring well behaved dogs, unless otherwise stated by the venue.

Will toilets be available?

This is dependent on the venue but we always strive to have accessible bathrooms, of some sort, available at every show.

How long will the show be?

A running time will be provided for each show on their designated event page but a general time we stick by is:

2hrs 30mins (including interval) for a Standard Show
