Canterbury Shakespeare Festival is a community interest company and our funding mainly relies on the generosity of individuals and companies through donations and sponsorship. This allows us to continue the hard work we do both off stage and on stage.
By donating to CSF, you will play a key role in helping us produce the festival productions, create programmes and workshops for members of the festival, develop more exciting opportunities to members of the community. If you donate today, you donate to a festival that will work hard in making theatre, especially Shakespeare, more accessible to the Kent community. You can donate through the link at the top of each page via PayPal or card.
Each summer Canterbury Shakespeare Festival presents a programme of Shakespeare’s work in beautiful settings around the city which attracts 1,500 to 2,000 people from Kent. We are looking for different business companies around Kent to partner with us as a Corporate Sponsor and joining The Chamberlain Scheme. There are two ways to become a Corporate Sponsor for CSF and that is by getting involved as a Production Sponsor or Festival Sponsor.
To find out more about supporting the festival as a patron or part of The Chamberlain Scheme email us at .
Thank you in advance for your support!
Unfortunately, as a result of the pandemic, we had to cancel our season, and the future of the festival is now in danger with a return next year being quite uncertain. As we are a CIC (community interest company) we can't apply for any of the funding opportunities that are currently being provided by the Arts Council to other arts organisations, therefore we are turning to the community for help.
