Sophie Chadwick
Second Witch (Gentlewoman)
This is Sophie’s first time in a Canterbury Shakespeare Festival production, and her first performance in a Shakespeare play.

Prior to that, she was a member of the Quayside Payers in Sandwich, performing in The Trial of Charles I, and has played various roles in Guild Players productions – a long-established amateur dramatics group in Deal. Appearances include Linzi Ellison in Alan Ayckbourn’s Drowning on Dry Land, and the Witch in Hansel and Gretel.

Acting credits also include a school production of The Happiest Days of Your life, with now well-known actor and personality Neil Morrissey.

Sophie works at Canterbury Christ Church University and lives in Sandwich, where she can sometimes be found sampling the delights of the many hostelries in the town.
